The ReDirect Guide is a new breed of media company - one that is dedicated solely to creating innovative and effective media that encourages green living and sustainable communities; one that focuses on the end result of its messages instead of simply contributing to the chatter of commercialism; one that holds itself to the market rigors of a for-profit corporation while operating with a mission and ethics expected of a non-profit organization; and one whose actions are driven by three bottom lines - planet, people, profit.

"The most fun a helmet ever had "

Nutcase Helmets, of Portland Oregon, are multi-purpose cycle, skateboard, inline and scooter helmets aimed at providing unique designs and creative alternatives in the cycle and skate helmet market. Launched in the spring of 2005, Nutcase is sold throughout the United States in Sporting Goods and Outdoor Specialty stores. Their designs are original, unique and very imaginative. The objective of Nutcase helmets is to combine highly visual graphics with multi-purpose helmet designs that are popular among bicycle, skateboard, scooter and in-line skate enthusiasts.
“We recognized a gap in the marketplace for cycle and skate helmets, where they were either solid black or a licensed character. There was nothing ‘cool’ from a graphics standpoint for youth and adults,” said Michael Morrow, the creator and founder of Nutcase Helmets. “We made Nutcase helmets for ourselves, our kids and our friends. The response has been tremendous.

When former Working Assets Mutual Fund President Mitch Rofsky learned that AAA actually lobbies against environmental efforts like higher fuel economy standards and alternative transportation, he founded Better World Club, the nation's only environmentally friendly auto club. Better World Club provides carbon offsets for travel, gives discounts to hybrid auto drivers, surcharges gas-guzzlers, and dedicates one percent of its gross revenues to environmental cleanup and advocacy. Better World Club also offers an option for bicycle roadside protection and gives family membership status to domestic partners as well as married couples.
